DAY 01. CHIANG KHONG – PAKBENG
Welcome to Laos – Houisay border gate, embark on boat for the trip down the Mekong river. Stop to visit the Hmong hilltribe people. Overnight in Pakbeng.

DAY 02. PAKBENG – OUDOMXAY - NONG KHIOW (B/-/-)
Leave Pakbeng for the remote mountainous area in Northern Laos with stop to see the villages of minority groups. Overnight in Nong Khiow, visit the villages of Hmong hill tribes.

DAY 03. NONG KHIOW – LUANG PRABANG (B/-/-)
Take a boat downstream on the Nam Ou river with stopover at some weaving villages and then at Pak Ou river. Continue to Luang Prabang for overnight. Climb up to the Mountain Phousi and night market.

DAY 04. LUANG PRABANG – CITY TOURS (B/-/-)
Participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clothed monks and have city tour with the National museum and temples or monastery. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 05. LUANG PRABANG – VANG VIENG (B/-/-)
Leave Luang Prabang for Vang Vieng, drive along the winding mountainous, visit Tham Hoy Cave and surrounding hill tribal villages of Khmu and Hmong. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

DAY 06. VANG VIENG – VIENTIANE (B/-/-)
Take half day driving to Vientiane and have city tours to visit temple Wat Sisaket, Wat Prakeo, That Luang Stupa, Patuxay Monument. Overnight in Vientiane.

DAY 07. VIENTIANE – LAKXAO (B/-/-)
Head out southernbound to central Lao city Lakxao, enjoy the scenery of the surrounding limestone mountains and the peaceful landscape on Nam Theun river. Overnight in Lakxao.

DAY8. LAKXAO – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Free at leisure before heading to the border between Laos and Vietnam for a continuous Vietnam tours. (See Vietnam tours ).
